Our fleet consists of Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee aircraft which will be used from ab-initio training till the instrument rating
phase. We have a Garmin G5 equipped Piper Cherokee which introduces you to the
Glass Cockpit experience from the first day of your training.
We have access to a state of the art Alsim FNPT simulator and a (glass cockpit
equipped) Diamond DA42, multi-engine aircraft that will be used for the advanced
training.

The Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee are 3 seater (Pilot + 2 Pax) training aircraft. With a cruise speed of
around 90 knots (160 km/h) student pilots have the opportunity to settle in and enjoy
“sailing the skies” while getting a feel for the cockpit environment. Your instructor will
then introduce you to the world of flying by following the structured SACAA course foot-
print.
